JULY STAKE YOUTH EVENTS!
JULY 2nd-23rd | APPLICATION NOW OPEN TO JOIN A YOUTH BATTALION TEAM! >
All youth in the Quincy California Stake turning 12+ in 2023 have the opportunity to apply for a position on one of three Youth Battalion Teams! These teams will run during each school year from August – May. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, use your creativity, plan and carry out large memorable events and most importantly be part of the greatest work taking place on earth today… gathering Israel. Please encourage the youth to apply to be part of this opportunity by Sunday, July 23rd! These Youth Battalion Teams will replace what was previously known as “Stake Youth Council”. JULY 15TH | STAKE YOUTH BARN ACTIVITY – CANCELED & POSTPONED >
We will no longer have a Stake Youth Activity on July 15th… Enjoy Summer with your family! This event will be postponed until September 16th. Mark your calendars!
JULY 31ST | STAKE YOUNG WOMEN’S CAMP >
Packing lists are now available online! Let us know if any other Young Women would like to sign up to go!
- This year’s camp theme is “The Light Within”.
- When is Camp? Tuesday, August 1st – Saturday, August 5th for all Young Women. Monday, July 31st – Saturday, August 5th for 5th Year Young Women, YCL’s & Leaders. (5th years will be given further instruction on their activity and meeting location for Monday)
- It is the responsibility of the parent to get each girl to and from camp. Because Bucks Lake is so far away, we suggest you carpool with other parents. Drop off for girls is Tuesday, August 1st at 10:00am. Please provide a sack lunch. We will not be feeding the girls until dinner time.
- Pick up time is Saturday, August 5th at 9:30am. That is the approximate time that we will be giving out camp awards. Everyone will have cleaned up, eaten breakfast, and been packed up to go by then. As soon as awards are done, it is time to go home. We would like to have camp cleared out by 10:00am.

AUGUST STAKE CONFERENCE | YOUTH CHOIR
Quincy Stake Conference will be held August 12th-13th in Susanville. The Stake Youth will be invited to sing the EFY Medley on Sunday, Aug. 13th during the General Meeting. The youth are invited to wear Pioneer clothing to Stake Conference that morning. Practices will be announced soon. Youth can also listen to the song to practice on their own:

Please join us for our next Stake Youth Baptism Temple Trip! All youth and adults who plan to attend, please sign up for your session time at one of the links above. We had a great experience at the last Temple Trip, this sign up system seemed to work really well and allowed families to choose the time that would work best for them that day. Please invite all the youth you know, offer to take them, attend with them or help them sign up! 16 youth are allowed to participate in baptisms at each session. If these sessions fill up quickly, we will try to add another session.
NOTE: There is also a Regional Youth Reno Dance the evening of this Temple Trip Day…
