We are SO excited to be sending out the first edition of “Youth Battalion Times” a Newspaper created specifically for you!
Below is your January Newspaper which is a very small glimpse into what is to come! We can’t wait to begin working with you to build and strengthen Zion within our Stake.
A few years ago, Russell M. Nelson called the youth to join the “Youth Battalion“, to set aside the things of the world and help gather Israel on both sides of the veil. We have felt strongly that as parents and leaders we are enlisted as the Colonels, Majors and Lieutenants of this Youth Battalion.
He says, “My dear extraordinary youth, you were sent to earth at this precise time, the most crucial time in the history of the world, to help gather Israel. There is nothing happening on this earth right now that is more important than that. There is nothing of greater consequence. Absolutely nothing. This gathering should mean everything to you. This is the mission for which you were sent to earth. So my question to you is, “Are you willing to enlist in the youth battalion of the Lord to help gather Israel?” I invite you to stand with the youth from all around the world and experience the thrill of being a member of the Lord’s youth battalion in “Zion’s army”. We hope that this Newspaper is the start to something wonderful. A way to collaborate, unify and share our hearts with each other. We are so grateful for the valiant time, efforts and sacrifice you make to inspire, love, teach, build and lead the youth in the Quincy Stake.
